Nice that I'm not alone with this problem.
For example, I have got a 49 "PC monitor in 4K for a few months.
If I sit there 1 meter in front of it, I have exactly the same size ratio and the same problem.
Most 4K content is also only offered in 24-30 fps. (Streaming anyway)
Exceptions are, for example, Gemini-Man in 60 fps, which is very, very good, a real experience.
The standard material in 24; 25 or 30 fps, on the other hand, can only be viewed with field interpolation from such close proximity, in such a size.
Now I hardly believe that it is possible to pack as much electronics into these little glasses as into a projector or a television. Hence the idea why an extra box in the HDMI way could not enable such processing.
Another problem would be an influence on the sound - equalizer, which this box could also do right away ...
I also ordered an Edge Pro and would primarily like to use it to watch 3D BluDisc and VR material. :-)
