Hi,
Many potential users of the Cinera Edge Pro are shocked by this new update:
https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/cinera-edge-5k-hmd-with-dolby-digital-headphone#/updates/all
What does it mean? Does it mean that the Cinera Edge Pro cannot display a real standard 3D signal in 2 times 1920 x 1080 full resolution from a 3D Bludisc player via HDMI?
That the Cinera only masters such 3D children's stuff like side-by-side or top & bottom?
That must not be!
kind regards seifenchef
seifenchef Cinera Edge Pro will also support the native frame-packing 3D standard. Karen has confirmed this recently on the KickStarter forum.
What hasn't been confirmed is whether Cinera Edge Pro utilises any frame interpolation algorithms to smooth the 24fps motion, as viewing it magnified does intensify any flickering and jerkiness, like projectors do.
